LTHS Live@edu :::

LTHS is now making Microsoft's Live@edu available to all LT students.  The Live@edu services include three powerful tools:

  1. A web-based email service that students can access within the school using LT's PCs, as well as from any other computer with a connection to the Internet. This is expected to become the standard method for LT teachers, coaches, club sponsors and administrators to electronically communicate directly with students.  To learn more about the Live@edu email services, click here .
  2. The Microsoft Office suite available as web applications.  Students can use Word, Excel, PowerPoint and more from any computer that can get to the Internet, even if those apps are not installed on that computer.  Students can create and edit files that are fully compatible with the standard Office applications available on LT's PCs.
  3. A 25GB SkyDrive, provides students with an Internet-accessible location to store files used in school and for homework.  The SkyDrive replaces the need for flash or thumb drives, eliminating the chance that homework and assignments will get lost when a flash drive is misplaced or left behind.  To learn more about the Live@edu Office web apps and SkyDrive, click here .

To obtain instructions on how to activate the Live@edu accounts, including individualized activation codes, students should login to their Infinite Campus Portal accounts and view the Portal Inbox.

Once the Live@edu account has be activated, students may access the Live@edu services:

from on LT's network by:

  • Opening Internet Explorer.
  • Clicking on the Live@edu icon in the center of the page.

(after the initial activation process, students accessing Live@edu while already logged into LT's network will not be prompted to enter their ID and password credentials again)

when away from LT by:

Students requiring assistance accessing the Infinite Campus Portal, activating their Live@edu accounts or using the Live@edu services should visit the Discovery Center.
