Basic Citation Format for Magazine Articles
Author name (if available). "Article Title." Magazine Title. Volume (for scholarly journals only) Date: page number or range. Database Name. Publisher of database. School or Library name. Date Accessed <URL of service>.
Note: Citations should be double-spaced. They are single spaced here to save room.

This is the correct citation for a "scholarly journal." Ebsco Academic Journals also includes magazines and these should be cited like Ebsco Popular Magazines above. Scholarly journals frequently have "Journal" or "Quarterly" in the title or the date is given as "Fall or Summer," rather than a month. Sometimes there is only a year and an issue number. In the citation below the first number is the volume, then a period, then the issue number.
