Citing Online Databases :::

Basic Citation Format

Author (if available). "Title of article."  Print information if available. Database Name. Date published. Publisher of Database. School or Library name.  Date Accessed <URL of service>.

Note: Citations should be double-spaced.  They are single spaced here to save room.

Online databases (which you access from our Library Homepage) include information from:

* books

* magazine articles

* scholarly journals

* newspaper articles

* CD ROMs

* articles written by the editorial staff of the database

The information that you include in your citation will depend on the type of source as well as which database you used.
