The Bloomsbury Group :::

"Between about 1905 and 1935, a group of artists, writers and thinkers met frequently to discuss art and philosophy. They met in the Bloomsbury area of London and many had studied at Cambridge University.  The Bloomsbury Group had considerable influence on the development of culture in the 20th Century, although its members did not share a common philosophy or espouse a particular set of values."  The Modernist Period by Patrick Lee-Browne.
