Summer Academic Program dates and times: Semester I: Monday, June 14, 2010 through Thursday, July 1, 2010 Semester II: Tuesday, July 6, 2010 through Friday, July 23, 2010 Classes meet MTWRF from 8:00 a.m. until 12:34 p.m. (Keyboarding meets from 8:00 a.m. until 10:13 a.m OR 10:20 a.m. until 12:34 p.m.) |

Summer Program Guide - A program guide dedicated entirely to the 2010 LTHS Summer Programs. Inside, you will find course and camp details, as well as registration information.
Summer Student Handbook - The online version of the summer school student handbook. Each student will receive a hardcopy of this handbook on the first day of summer classes.

Registration Information
In-District Registration: Beginning on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 12:00 noon, online registrations for the 2010 Summer Academic Program will be accepted. In-District registration will close at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 7, 2010. Payment will be made for all registrations made during this In-District registration period. Accepted payment methods are Visa and Mastercard. Registrants also have the option to pay in person at LTHS North Campus. If you have selected this option, please bring the following items to the North Campus bookstore:
- A print-out of the registration confirmation screen with Web Order ID number
- Valid Visa, Mastercard, Discover, cash, or check
In-District registrants utilizing Pay-In-Person must pay-in-full no later than Friday, March 19 2010. Any registrations with outstanding payments as of 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2010 will be vacated. The North Campus bookstore is open from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.
If the number of course registrations exceeds the participation limit, a RANDOM LOTTERY will be conducted. Registrations will be drawn at random to determine which participants are enrolled in the course and which are not. Those participants that are not selected in the lottery process will be issued a refund of the full registration cost in the form of a check through the Lyons Township High School Business Office.
Open Registration/Out-of-District: Beginning on April 12, 2010, all unfilled slots will be open to the public for registration on a first come-first served basis.

Summer Academic Refund Policy: A cancellation fee is assessed for each course that is dropped by 3:00 p.m. June 11, 2010 (first semester and annual courses) and July 1, 2010 (second semester courses).
Cancellation fee schedule:

March 8 - April 30: $25.00
·
May 1 - May 14: $50.00
·
May 15 - May 31: $75.00
·
June 1 - Day before course begins: $100.00
Refunds for the second semester of an annual course will not be honored
after June 11, 2010.
A second semester course (which is not a continuation of an annual
course) must be dropped by 3:00 p.m. on July 1, 2010 to qualify for a partial refund.
No refund will be issued if a student withdraws after the specified
date, is dropped for disciplinary reasons, or is dropped for attendance reasons.
