th Grade Percussion Ensemble Camp, 9am-12pm
Attention middle school percussionists! Do you wish you had a
chance to play more often during band class? If so, then this is the camp for you!
Master classes will cover all standard instrument groups, including snare drum, keyboard, and
timpani, as well as auxiliary instruments. In addition to exercise and technique, students
will give a short performance showcasing what they’ve learned at the end of the week.
Materials students should bring with them include all sticks and
mallets they own, a practice pad, and a pencil.

th-12 Grade Drumline Camp, 1:30pm-5:30pm
Drumline exercises and materials for the 2010-2011 Marching Band
Season will be used to teach the fundamentals of marching percussion. This camp is a great
resource for incoming freshman, as well as returning drumline members preparing to audition for the
Fall 2011 drumline. Information and audition repertoire for the following year’s Drumline
will be presented, as well as the following year’s show music.
