Testing Information for New Students :::
• 8th Grade Testing-EXPLORE Test
The EXPLORE test is administered to all 8th grade students who are in district in December of their 8th grade year. No pre-registration is required. Student names are obtained from the Associate Schools.
Students who do not take the placement test in December of their 8th grade year must schedule testing through the Office of Assessment and Analysis.
Students must meet all registration and residency requirements as outlined by the Main Office at Lyons Township High School before any placement testing can be administered by the Office of Assessment and Research.
Students will be contacted by the Office of Assessment and Research to schedule a testing
appointment. All testing is administered at North Campus (100 S. Brainard Avenue in
LaGrange) in Room 128.
Students need to bring #2 pencils and a calculator to the test.
