Crew Opportunities:
The LTHS Theatre Board is made up of six different areas of theatre production. Below is a list of the six areas of Theatre Board and the opportunities for getting involved in each. Feel free to contact Ms. Dudek or Mrs. Gillespie with questions.  Come to the Theatre Board meetings to meet the student leaders and find out about signing up for crews.

Costumes: This crew is responsible for measuring and ordering costumes or otherwise finding them and maintaining those costumes through the run of the show. Assistants for maintaining costumes and the costume room are needed soon after each play is cast. Also, changers might be needed to assist actors during the shows. Workshops will be held to teach basic sewing skills.

Props: This crew is responsible for finding every prop and then maintaining those props through the run of the show. Some people may be needed to help in the search for props. During performances one or two people are needed to oversee props offstage and set their placement onstage.

Make-up: This crew is responsible for every cast member’s make-up, special make-up, hairstyles, facial hair, and more. A couple of people are needed during every show to apply make-up and work with hair and wigs. Workshops on how to do this will be offered.

Technical: This crew is responsible for assisting in all technical aspects of the production including lights, sound effects, and mechanicals (stage platform/elevator; fly system). Crew members would be involved with running lights/sound and moving sets during productions.

Visual Design: This crew is responsible for poster design and photography for Theatre Board.

Public Relations: This crew is responsible for making the public (LT and otherwise) aware of Theatre Board productions. This crew is also responsible for lobby and hall displays, and selling Theatre-wear.
