Pom Pons :::
The Lyons Township Pom Squad performs at all home football and basketball games. The squad
performs jazz, hip hop and pom style routines with skills and techniques attained through years of
dance studio experience. The team practices 3 times a week for 2 hours each practice. Team members
also participate in fundraising events, such as the Peppy Primary, a clinic held in December for
young girls. Towards the end of the season, the Varsity and Junior Varsity Poms participate in
various dance competitions held in Illinois. Auditions for Varsity and JV are held in the spring
and auditions for freshmen are held the week before school begins in August.
