Sci-Fi, Fantasy, & Vampire Booktalks!
Mark your calendar for
the night of Thursday, October 30th when LT librarians, along with LaGrange Public librarian Ms.
Noel Zethmayr and LT teacher Ms. Karen Raino, will booktalk an array of guaranteed
spine-tingling young adult novels. The booktalks will take place from 7-8 p.m. in the South
Campus Library. Free paperback copies of featured books will be given away, plus there will
be a drawing for a boxed set of Stephenie Meyer's
Twilight Saga! All LT parents and students are welcome to attend. Contact

Wanted: Teen Tech Tutors
Looking for an opportunity to volunteer? Stop in either Discovery Center and find out more about the Teen Tech Tutor program - a partnership between LTHS, the Brookfield Public Library, and RBHS. Tutors will be trained and matched with senior citizens to provide 10 weeks of instruction in computer basics. Stop in today!
Need Help in a Subject?
Peer Tutors are available in the South Campus Discovery Center before and after school and during a couple of periods during the school day. Peer Tutors are honors and accelerated level students who volunteer their time to help out fellow students in need. Click for tutor specialities and times. No appointments necessary.
