Parent University is typically held on the first Saturday in Febuary at Lyons Township High School South - 4900 Willow Springs Rd., Western Springs IL 60558. This half-day educational event has taken place annually since 1998. The sessions offered focus on current issues facing today's youth from pre-school through high school, along with issues facing parents. Parents and educators gather to learn, share, and support each other.
Along with the keynote speakers, attendees are free to choose three additional sessions from the twenty scheduled. There are also opportunities to network and connect with community resources in the resource area during breaks.
