Lyons Township High School’s H. Bucheleres, Class of 2011, was named the 2010-2011 Student Representative to the Board of Education. She starts her one-year term in August.
Bucheleres believes her participation in a diverse variety of co-curricular activities has allowed her to gain the skills and experience necessary to be to be an effective leader. She devotes her time to athletic pursuits such as track and field, varsity cheerleading, and dancing with Jo’s Footwork Studio and the Hubbard Street Dance Studio. Bucheleres also dedicates herself to altruistic activities, having spent four years with CEP Youth Leadership, three years on Peer Leadership, three years on Snowball, and a year as a member of the newly formed Hearts for Haiti organization.
