LION newspaper wins numerous awards :::

Lyons Township High School is proud to announce the many awards earned by the staff of the LION newspaper throughout the 2009-2010 school year. Twenty-five students participated on the staff, each contributing to the overall journalistic quality LION is lauded for. The staff consists of juniors and seniors who have a passion for journalism. Together they explored many aspects of the field, from reporting and layout to web design and photography.

LION was recognized by the National Scholastic Press Association and Journalism Education Association as 4th place in the nation in “Best in Show” for high school newspapers of 17 or more pages.
