LT Earns Silver Medal :::
LTHS named among America’s Best High Schools
Lyons Township High School was ranked among the top public high schools in the nation according to U.S. News & World Report. LT earned a Silver medal in the America’s Best High Schools ranking for 2010. LT was one of just 70 high schools in Illinois to make the list – three gold medalists, 34 silver medals, and 33 bronze medals awarded.
America’s Best High Schools analysis is based on how students perform on standardized tests, evaluated how well each school’s disadvantaged students perform, and looked at whether the school was successful in providing challenging college-level coursework. The silver medal recognized high schools meeting all three criteria.
