First time national competitors: LT poms return with admirable finish
The Lyons Township High School pom pon squad competed in their first ever national competition
at the 2009 Universal Dance Association Team Competition, in the Small Varsity Pom category. LT
missed the semifinal round by just three squads, putting them in the top third of more than 70
teams – almost unheard of for first time performers.
