Thanks to LTHS Volunteer Service Awardees
An award and many thanks go to seven Lyons Township High School students for their volunteer service to their school and community. The President’s Volunteer Service Award is issued by the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation on behalf of the President of the United States to recognize the best in American spirit, and to encourage all Americans to improve their communities through volunteer service, and civic participation.
Students are all members of the Lyons Township High School chapter of the National Honor Society, Class of 2009. Students will be honored at the NHS Induction Ceremony Thursday, May 21. Activities have been documented by the LT National Honor Society for dates of service from May 2008 through May 2009.
