WLTL Radio earns national recognition :::
WLTL Radio was named the “Best Radio Station in the Nation,” at the 2009 John Drury High School Radio Awards, earlier this month at North Central College in Naperville. This is the fourth time WLTL has taken home the top honor, also winning in 2002, 2004 and 2008. In order to win this award, stations must enter their programs in several different categories involving promotions, drama, news, sports and public service, and based on “point totals” from those entries, the station with the most points wins the top honor of Best Radio Station.
