Write Night 2009 :::
Lyons Township High School established a direct link to the North Pole via the computer. Hundreds of children, aged kindergarten through third grade, wrote letters to Santa on Discovery Center computers and receive an immediate response from the North Pole!
A story room, coloring room, face-painting , and cookie decorating were staffed by LT elves.
Children took pictures with LT’s mascot, Noil, and created a personalized holiday card on the
computer. They recorded a holiday message that will be heard on WLTL radio. They enjoyed punch and
cookies, baked by LT’s Chef’s Club, are enjoyed musical entertainment by LT musicians.
