Q: Can a student's semester grade be impacted by Remote Learning?
A: 9th-11th grade students who were failing prior to March 13 will have the time during remote learning to improve the grade or they will receive a "P" for Pass, which will be counted as a D for GPA purposes and appear on the transcript. * If they improve the grade, they will be given the letter grade they earned (A-D). * Failing grades unresolved at the end of the semester will be assigned a "P" for Pass. In the fall, counselors will meet with students who have "P" grades to determine if, due to extenuating circumstances, they need time during the first 6 weeks to make up the work to improve the "P" to a letter grade.
