Courses will be offered during the first period of the day at the LT South Campus. First period begins at 7:45 AM and ends at 8:33 AM, except on Wednesdays. Late Start Wednesdays begin at 9:15 AM with class ending at 9:48 AM. 

The first day of school will be Monday, August 21st, with the first Late Start Wednesday being August 23rd.

TRANSPORTATION

Lyons Township High School does not provide transportation for middle school students. However, if you live on a current LTHS bus route, and live 1.5+ miles away from South Campus, you have been provided a route. If you plan to drive your child, the parent drop-off is in the Circle Drive in the morning. 

Once the class has ended, First Student will have buses waiting in the Circle Drive to transport those students back to their middle schools. This transportation is coordinated by each individual middle school who have students enrolled in the courses. As a reminder, students must show their ID each time they board the bus.

FEES

Families who register will pay a $25 Student Support Fee, but the $75 Textbook Rental and $150 Technology Fee are effectively waived for the 2023-24 school year. 

TECHNOLOGY

LT student grades can be found using the Infinite Campus parent portal which may be found on our website parent page. 

Students will be provided an LT Chromebook to access the course content, email, and the District 204 network.

You are invited to attend our Book Pick-Up which will be on August 9th, 8 AM - 4 PM, August 10th, 11 AM - 7 PM, and Monday, August 14th, 8 AM - 4 PM. You will have an opportunity to pick up your Chromebook and tour the school. 

For those students who are unable to come to Book Pick-Up, we will provide an opportunity to get your Chromebooks on Monday, August 21st. 

ATTENDANCE

8th grade students are required to follow the Lyons Township High School calendar and attend class each school day. The LTHS Attendance and Tardy Policies are in effect for all 8th grade students.

If your student is sick, you must call both the middle school and Lyons Township High School attendance hotlines. For LTHS, please call South Campus at 708-579-6528 prior to 9:00 AM on the day of the absence. Please be prepared to provide the following information:
