Lyons Township High School Launches New Career Internship Program for 2026–2027 School Year
Lyons Township High School is proud to announce the launch of its new Career Internship Program beginning in the 2026–2027 school year. The program is designed to provide junior and senior students with meaningful internship opportunities that help develop professional skills and offer valuable real-world experience in preparation for future careers.
Through the program, participating students will complete internships for approximately four hours per week while earning academic credit. The experience is intended to help students explore career interests, build workplace readiness skills, and strengthen connections between classroom learning and professional environments.
For the Fall 2026 semester, the program is currently seeking internship placement opportunities in the following fields: Accounting, Investing and Finance, Law and Animation and Graphic Design.
As the program continues to grow, Lyons Township High School plans to expand internship opportunities into additional career fields throughout the upcoming school year.
Local businesses, organizations, and professionals interested in hosting a student intern are encouraged to connect with the school. Community partnerships will play an important role in helping students gain hands-on experience and career exposure.
