Congressional Debate
Congressional Debate offers students the chance
- to debate bills they created themselves
- to learn about important issues
- to learn to speak on both sides of an issue
- to meet debaters from all over the Chicago area and
- to become an expert at "speaking on your feet."
We have a lot of fun being a team, meeting other school debaters and traveling to local and state tournaments! Students have joined as Freshman but have also waited until their Senior year to go out! - ICDA 1 - September 13th at Glenbrook South
- ICDA 2 - October 18th at Grayslake Central
- ICDA 3 - November 1st at Stevenson
- ICDA 4 - December 6th at Dundee Crown
- ICDA 5 - January 24th at Hoffman Estates
- ICDA State - February 21st at Harper College
