LYMUN XI is fundraising for A Giving Heart Foundation. To help us out, send a message and some candy to your friends! Candy grams can be purchased for $3 at lunch. Additional donations will be collected in committee.
A Giving Heart Foundation is a nonprofit organization that raises money for children born with congenital heart conditions. 1 in 100 children are born with congenital heart disease, and 30% are forced to undergo open heart surgery. As a result, many of these children deal with lifelong trauma as well as physical and developmental limitations. In addition, 99% of all proceeds for research is focused on adults, who already benefit from safe, non-invasive procedures that are not yet available to children. Thus, A Giving Heart Foundation helps fund crucial research to support kids born with congenital heart disease through the development of new technology.
