Community Service Hours

Class of 2024 NHS members must complete a minimum of 25 community service hours.

Service Hours must be:

1. Voluntary - you cannot get paid for hours you submit to NHS.
2. With LTHS or a community organization (501c3 nonprofit organization, religious institution, blood bank, school, government organization).
3. Must have an adult sponsor that can verify your hours.

If you are unsure if your service will qualify, please reach out to the NHS sponsor BEFORE submitting hours to x2VOL. 

Students who receive a minimum of 100 verified community service hours within a year (from April 1 to March 31) will qualify for a Presidential Service Award.
