SAVE Promise Club (Students Against Violence Everywhere)
The SAVE Promise Club is a student run club associated with Sandy Hook Promise (SHP) organization. Sandy Hook Promise is a national non-profit organization founded and led by family members whose children were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012. The main focus of SHP is to prevent gun violence (and other forms of violence) before it happens by educating and mobilizing schools, parents and communities on mental health and wellness programs that identify, intervene, and help at risk individuals.
SAVE (Students Against Violence Everywhere) Promise Clubs are part of SHP and are a place for young people across the country to show their leadership, creativity and passion for protecting their friends, schools and communities from violence before it happens.
Start With Hello week
The Start With Hello program brings attention to the growing epidemic of social isolation in schools and communities and empowers young people to create a culture of inclusion and connectedness within their school.
