Sideline Cheer
The Lyons Township High School Sideline Cheer Squad is a cut activity.
Our cheerleaders are divided between 2 squads and 2 levels.
- Gold Squad (Formally Fall) - Football -JV and Varsity Squads
- Blue Squad (Formally Winter) - Basketball --JV and Varsity Squads
Fall Season:
- JV Cheerleaders sideline cheer at all the boys Sophomore Football games and perform halftime routines at all the home games.
- Varsity Cheerleaders sideline cheer at all the Varsity football games and perform half-time routines at all the home games.
- Both squads perform at the Homecoming pep rally, and the Homecoming game.
Winter Season:
- JV Cheerleaders sideline cheer at all Sophomore home games, some away games and several Special Olympics home games.
- Varsity Cheerleaders sideline cheer at all boys' Varsity home games, some away games and several Special Olympics home games.
- Both squads perform halftime routines at all the home games, and the All School Assembly.
