The 2024 Homecoming Dance

The dance takes place at South Campus.

• All students must have their current LTHS school ID with them at all times.
• Absolutely no backpacks or bags will be allowed into the dance. Leave them in your cars (or better yet, at home).
• A limited coat check will be available. Students are encouraged to leave coats, cell phones, purses, jackets, and any other valuable items either in their cars or at home.

No, absolutely not. Many students prefer to come as groups of friends, not with dates. The most important thing is to have a good time!

STEP 1: Submit a completed guest request form (available online and at the Bookstore) to the Assistant Principals' Office by Wednesday, September 18.

STEP 2: Once your request has been approved, you will receive an email from Omella with a link to purchase your guest's ticket. Non-LT Guest Tickets must be purchased by Friday, September 20.

PLEASE NOTE:

• Guests must have their own current school ID, driver's license, or state-issued ID when they arrive at the dance.
• Guests must be of at least high school age and no older than 20.
• Guests and their LTHS escorts will enter the dance together.

The Dance is semi-formal: Girls typically wear nice dresses or pantsuits, and boys wear suits or a shirt and tie with a sweater or vest. Look sharp, but be comfortable. If you don’t have appropriate clothes to wear, come to the Student Activities Office, or talk to your counselor or favorite teacher – we can help! There will be a limited coat check at the Dance, although it is easier and faster not to bring a coat.

Absolutely not. If you do charter a vehicle to bring you to the Homecoming Dance, there are some restrictions. Our security staff will ask each chartered driver for a business card, and their vehicles may be searched. The drivers are to park at the east end of the parking lot, leaving the closer spots for students and staff driving to the event.
