2025 Post-Prom Cruises
"How will you divide 900+ students between two Post Prom boats?"

Post-Prom, sponsored by the Parent-Teacher Council, features cruises aboard The Odyssey and Spirit of Chicago cruise ships, located at Navy Pier. The Post-Prom Cruise is scheduled from 12:30 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. Tickets for Post-Prom are sold separately, but must be purchased at the same time as your Prom tickets. Students will choose which boat they will ride at the time of ticket purchase.
- Only students attending Prom are eligible to attend the Post-Prom Cruise.
- Tickets are $60.00 per person and must be purchased online or in the Student Activities Office (NC Room 4) between March 23 and April 14.
- Cruise ship selection will be made at the point of purchase.
- Post-Prom tickets are non-transferable. No changes can be made to tickets after Monday, April 14.
- The cruise includes:
- Buffets filled with appetizers, sandwiches, desserts, and beverages.
- DJ entertainment on all levels.
- Full, open-air observation decks to view the beautiful Chicago skyline.
- Weather permitting, the ships cruise north to Oak Street Beach, turn around and cruise south to the Adler Planetarium, and then back to Navy Pier. In case of inclement weather, Post-Prom will still take place; however, the ships will remain docked at Navy Pier.
- No alcohol or smoking will be allowed on the cruises or on the buses.
- Ship rules require all students to be dressed in proper attire.
- Students will board deluxe, chartered buses and will return to LTHS South Campus at approximately 3:00 a.m.
- Students must find their own transportation home after their return to the LTHS South Campus parking lot.
