Parent Information
A short list of essentials. Everything else lives in the handbook — please skim it before the season opens.
- Athletes need an updated physical on file before the season begins.
- All practices are mandatory — no exceptions for vacations once the season starts.
- Volunteers will be needed for time trials and home meets. Sign-ups go out by email.
- Transportation is provided for away meets.

What if my swimmer has a conflict during the season?
The requirement to be a member of the team is 100% attendance for your particular group. Conflicts must be communicated well in advance and receive approval. Missed practices may impact roster status or meet eligibility.
Can I join the team if I’ve never swum before?
This is a competitive program. While prior experience is not strictly required, athletes with a background in swimming and a strong off-season work ethic tend to have the most successful and positive experiences. If you’re unsure whether the team is the right fit, please reach out to the coaching staff for guidance.
How are cuts determined?
Cuts are based on time trial results, attendance, attitude, and roster limitations.
Can parents attend practices?
Practices are closed unless otherwise noted. Parents are welcome at all meets and volunteer events.
