Future Freshmen - Class of 2025

  • December 9, 2020

Welcome to Lyons Township High School!

We hope your family is doing well, staying healthy, and remaining strong as we continue to navigate through the COVID-19 global pandemic. We are excited to begin the official process of welcoming our 8th grade students and families to the LT community! Our primary goal throughout the next eight months, in anticipation of the 2021-22 school year, is to ensure our newest Lions feel prepared for their transition to high school. To that end, we are excited to welcome your student and family to our learning community by hosting a Class of 2025 Welcome via WebEx on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 7:00pm-8:00pm.

The Class of 2025 Welcome will provide our current 8th graders and families with an overview of the orientation process, an opportunity to learn more about academic programs, and information regarding the course selection process for the 2021-22 school year. In addition, students and families will learn about the amazing extra-curricular and athletic opportunities that students can take advantage of as future Lions.

In mid-January, all 8th grade families will receive additional information about how to access our Academic Program Guide, details about the course selection process (which begins in early February), and a reminder about the January 26 Class of 2025 Welcome Event.

In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to contact us at 708-579-6500 (or via the e-mail links below) if you have questions or need information regarding your student’s transition to Lyons Township High School.

    We are…LT!

    Sincerely,

    Brian Waterman, Principal

Shanna Lewis, Associate Principal (South Campus)

Adam Davis, Assistant Principal (Class of 2025)

Leslie Owens, Division Chair (Student Services)
