LT Community Advisory Council (LTCAC)
The LT Community Advisory Council (LTCAC) meets quarterly to learn about, discuss, and provide feedback on important school-related topics. The LTCAC provides a communication link between community members and the school, and members include students, parents, community members, staff, and administrators. In addition, Julie Swinehart serves as the 2021-22 Board of Education representative to the LTCAC.
On Wednesday, September 15, we will host our first LTCAC of the school year at 7:00pm in the Community Room (Room 140) at North Campus. The topic for the September 15 meeting is “Student Supports at LT”. Leslie Owens, Director of Student Services and Drew Eder, Division Chair for Counseling and Student Support Services, will present information regarding the supports provided to students at the beginning of the 2021-22 school year, as well as provide information regarding the updated guidance model implemented this year, then solicit feedback so that we can continue to make improvements to the services we provide students and families. A summary of the September 15 LTCAC meeting will be presented by LTCAC Chairperson, Kate Kelly, to the BOE at the October 18 Board of Education Regular Action Meeting.
