Help celebrate Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week will take place on October 23-31, 2021. The theme for 2021 is “Drug Free Looks Like Me!” The goal of this week is to raise awareness about Red Ribbon Week and the harmful effects of drugs and illegal substances and focus on positive healthy choices.    

Here are the plans for LT:

From October 25  to October 28 

  • Daily announcements relating to Red Ribbon Week will be read over the PA system for students and staff. In addition, daily tweets and posts will be sent out to create awareness about Red Ribbon Week. 

From October 23 to October 28 

  • Staff and students are encouraged to submit photos of LTHS decor efforts to the National Family Partnership sponsoring the Red Ribbon Week Initiative. Catch your class in action and email photo submissions to Lauren Cuchna -

Monday, October 25

  • Staff will receive a red mask for Red Ribbon Week Kick Off Day - Drug Free Looks Like Me! Students and staff are encouraged to wear Red. 

Tuesday, October 26

  • Make Healthy Choices to Secure Your Bright Future - Wear your favorite Neon Clothes

Wednesday, October 27 

  • Be your Biggest Fan Today - Wear Your Favorite Team or Jersey

Thursday, October 28  

  • Drugs are a Trick - Not a Treat: Dress up in your Halloween Costume - NO COSTUME MASKS OR FACE PAINT! - COVID MASKS ONLY!
