LT to present Wizard of Oz

Theatre Board proudly presents the annual freshman/sophomore play, “The Wizard of Oz.” The production is scheduled for Thursday, November 11, at 7pm, Friday, November 12, at 7pm and Saturday, November 13, at 3pm and 7pm. All shows are in the South Campus Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $10, $5 for students and senior citizens, and free with LTHS student ID. The theatre opens 30 minutes before the show starts.

In this classic production, Dorothy is whisked away from her home in Kansas by a tornado, which takes her to the faraway land of Oz. Her house has fallen on the Wicked Witch of the East-killing her, and saving the Munchkins. The Good Witch of the North sends her to find the Wizard of Oz who can help return her home to Kansas. On her journey she encounters a Scarecrow, a Tinman, and a Cowardly Lion. Plus--the Wicked Witch of the West is trying to capture them! This is a play about friendship, brains, heart, and courage- and the things we do for those that we care about.
