BREADCRUMB

SAT

A national SAT® assessment is optional but recommended for students in grades 11-12 interested in applying for colleges. The scores from this assessment can be submitted to colleges and universities as part of the college application process. A national SAT does NOT meet the graduation requirement set forth by ISBE. This digital assessment contains four modules - two reading and writing and two mathematics. Calculators are allowed on both mathematics modules.

Test Date and Registration

2026-2027 School Day SAT Sponsored by LTHS:

LTHS will be offering a free SAT to all juniors on Friday, March 19, 2027 at 7:30am. LT is offering this test to support junior students who have previously taken the PSAT/NMSQT, and wish to complete the full SAT suite with a SAT. This test is optional and not required by LTHS or the Illinois State Board of Education.

Grade 11 students from LTHS who wish to participate in the LT sponsored SAT must register by February 19, 2027 to ensure we have enough proctors available to administer the assessment following College Board guidelines. We will not be able to accommodate students who register after February 19, 2027. There is no makeup date for this assessment.
