Group Guidance Curriculum

LTHS school counselors deliver their comprehensive school counseling services in a variety of settings: 1-on-1, small groups, as well as through their proactive Group Guidance curriculum. 

Each team crafts age-appropriate lessons designed to help students grow within the areas of academic skills, social-emotional growth, and post-secondary awareness and preparation.  Students will be exposed to SchooLinks, our career & college readiness platform every year and will complete personality assessments, career interest inventories, and many other activities.

Over time, students will build a profile that is meant to inform them of steps they should be considering in order to enhance their academic experience at Lyons Township High School to prepare them for the college and post-secondary search process later in high school.  Below are the foundational experience that students can expect to have with SchooLinks throughout the school year.
