IMPORTANT DATES (CLASS OF 2025)

Prom:

Saturday, May 17th, 2025

• Field Museum 8:00pm – 11:00pm (student departure time from South Campus to be determined)
• Post Prom Cruise (Navy Pier) 11:45pm-2:30am

Seniors will attend an informational meeting on March 19th for details about this year’s Prom.

*Please note that we will be communicating a payment plan option for students/families that wish to start the process of paying for prom in advance of ticket sales opening on March 23, 2025.  More details will be shared within the next few weeks. 

Senior Scholarship Night:

Wednesday, May 21, 2025, 7:00pm, Reber Auditorium, North Campus

*Attendance by invitation 

Last Day for Classes for Seniors:

Friday, May 23, 2025

*Seniors are exempt from second semester final exams 

Graduation:

Commencement: Wednesday, May 28th, 2025 at 7:00pm, Bennett Field

Mandatory Rehearsal: Tuesday, May 27th, South Campus Fieldhouse (Time TBD)

Based on the overwhelmingly positive feedback that we received following the Class of 2023 and Class of 2024 Commencement Ceremonies, we will be continuing the tradition of hosting Commencement on Bennett Field. In the event of rain/inclement weather on May 28th, the ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 29th on Bennett Field.  In the event of rain/inclement weather on May 28th and May 29th, LTHS will hold the ceremony on Friday, May 3oth on Bennett Field. 

Please note, that in the event of inclement weather throughout the course of the week, LTHS may determine it necessary to move Commencement into the North Campus Fieldhouse.  This will occur if we determine that the weather forecast does not allow for an outdoor graduation.

Cap and Gown Ordering Info:

• All seniors attended presentations by Herff Jones about cap and gown orders on Friday, September 6th during their study hall.  During that meeting, students placed their order for their cap and gown.
• For those not in attendance at the September 6th meeting, they should use this link to place their order.  Parents/Guardians will receive an email with instructions on payment.
