IMPORTANT DATES (CLASS OF 2026)

Baccalaureate: A Senior Reflection Program - Friday, May 15, 2026

The event will take place in the Reber Center.  Students should look out for information as the year progresses. 

Prom - Saturday, May 16, 2026

Prom will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at the Field Museum.  Prom is scheduled from 8:00pm – 11:00pm and the Post Prom Cruise will be from 11:45pm – 2:30am.  

Senior Scholarship/Honors Recognition Event - Wednesday, May 20, 2026 (7pm) 

We will once again host the Senior Scholarship/Honors event in the evening.  The Recognition Event will take place in the Reber Center and will begin at 7pm.  Students being recognized/families will be sent an invitation to the event. 

Last Day of Classes for Class of 2026 Students - Friday, May 22, 2026

The last day of classes for Class of 2026 students is Friday, May 22.  Teachers of seniors, please note that all summative assessments should be administered in advance of May 22 so students have the option to retake the assessment prior to their last day.  

Graduation Rehearsal - Tuesday, May 26, 2026 Time TBD

Graduation Rehearsal will take place on Tuesday, May 26.  The rehearsal will take place at South Campus (Field House & Bennett Field).  Rehearsal is mandatory for all students that will be participating in the commencement ceremony.  

LT Class of 2026 Commencement - Wednesday, May 27, 2026* (7:00pm)

The Class of 2026 Commencement Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 27 at 7:00pm.  

We will be continuing the tradition of hosting Commencement on Bennett Field. In the event of rain/inclement weather on May 27th, the ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 28th on Bennett Field.  In the event of rain/inclement weather on May 27th and May 28th, LTHS will hold the ceremony on Friday, May 29th on Bennett Field. 

Please note, that in the event of inclement weather throughout the course of the week, LTHS may determine it necessary to move Commencement into the North Campus Fieldhouse.  This will occur if we determine that the weather forecast does not allow for an outdoor graduation.
